New Delhi 19th Aug’ 2010: The social service wing of Jamaat-e-Islami has started to distribute Iftar Kit to more than 3,000 poor Muslim families in many places of India Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Haryana including Delhi in this Ramadan. Salimullah Khan, National Co-ordiantor of Human Welfare Foundation said today in a press release that the foundation distributed Iftar Kit to poor Muslim familes in last Ramadan. New Delhi 24th August’ 210: An Iftar Party for rickshaw pullers and labourers by HWF held in Milli Model School, Abul Fazal Enclave, New Delhi. The foundation also organized such Iftar Party in last year too in the campus of Dawat Nagar. More than 300 rickshaw pullers and labourers participated in this Iftar Party. After breaking the fast (Iftar) they were served with dinner (meals) and dates also. Salimullah Khan, National Co-ordinator of HWF said that foundation has always been involved for the welfare of muslim community and their upliftment. He further said that we tried to do something worthful and organizing Iftar Party for rickshaw pullers and labourers is one of the project under vision 2016 of HWF.
Kochi: Over 2,000 candidates will contest in the impending election into Local Administrative Bodies under the banner of People’s Development Front, said Hameed Vanimel, State Political Secretary of Jamaat-E-Islami, Kerala. He was talking in a function held to inaugurate State wise activities of a People’s Unity Front in Kochi. The front was twisted by a few cultural and literary activists with an aim to break out unwanted presence of political parties in Local Administrative Bodies. Several regional People’s Committees are formed at many parts of the State. Ninety percent of these committees are connected with Panchayaths. It is high time to act for the growth of people, and to cease to be
