New Delhi
14 December
Sharing the festivities of Eid-ul-Azha (Eid of sacrifice) together with different faith leaders and prominent persons, an Eid together was organised by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind today at Constitution Club in New Delhi.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, in view of the situation prevailing in the country recently launched a fortnightly campaign on the theme of "Peace and Justice" and taken out and lead the countrywide caravans. This Eid Get Together was organised to analyse the current crisis and to suggest suitable remedies.
Mr. Teg Singh of Ambedkar Samaj during his speech extended Eid greeting to Jamaat leaders and all Muslims. Mr Singh insisted Muslims to fight direct political war together with Dalit sect against dominant castes as he cited that together they can be majority.
All India President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, after congratulating Eid greetings to all participants, said that Muslims have only two festivals i.e. Eid-ul-Fitr (Ramazan Eid) and Eid-ul-Azha (Eid of Sacrifice). "This Eid signifies the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) when he had ready to sacrifice his lone son on God's command and Allah just want to test prophet, He never wants to sacrifice or kill man, so God send cattle to sacrifice in place of prophet Ibrahim's son, and this Eid reminds us that we can sacrifice anything in the way of Allah," he said.
"As it is being uttered that India is divided into various castes and creeds some castes have been controlling the whole state of affairs since long time but after the independence religious biases increased among countrymen as compared to castes biases. We have to understand differences prevailing among deferent religions and would seek common things to work together while other differences should be discussed ideologically to adopt better things. No doubt, India is a democratic country but here weaker and oppressed sections are becoming more weaker as some dominant sections want to do so while it would destroy the unity of this country," Maulana Umari added. Pointing out on the slow progress of the Muslim community and other weaker sections in the country, he affirmed, "No community or caste can progress in front of hanging sword."
Congratulating for successfully organising Peace and Justice Caravan, he said, "when basic pillars of democracy; equality, justice and liberty were trembling we had decided to launch this caravan to restores the pillars of democracy and peoples of this warmly welcomed our caravan as words in their mouths 'you are the first organisation who are taking out caravans for providing and restoring justice and peace to us."
Telling about forming a political party and remarking on the grievous conditions of the country, Jamaat's president said, "we have to adopt some strategy to get out the country from this severe situation. We don't want justice only for Muslims but the whole country as we Muslims are bearing injustices since long time now it has become habit but this time our aim is to provide or give justice to all citizens of India for establishing peace in the country."

"In spite of democracy, India is de facto a majority ruled state so there is a need to rewrite its constitution," he added.
Raising questions on the recent terror incidents in India, Mr. Faizan said, "When ATS Chief and ATS team were investigating and exposing some reputed names and floating names of some Hindu organisations as the perpetrators of terrorists attacks, so, can't it be possible that it (Killing ATS chief) is done by them? or to divert the going investigation of Malegaon, Nanded and Kanpur blasts', these organisations sponsored terrorists for executing the attacks."
